We both love anything outdoors, from water sports to hiking mountain trails. Being in nature is important to both of us, and we take every opportunity we get to be outside!

Description

Hello :) Our names are Emma and Matt and we are both from England ages 26 and 28. We are from a small seaside town in England where it rains the majority of the time! We are both passionate about travelling (leaving our boring 9-5 jobs for this), seeing new parts of the world and have some great experiences meeting new people along the way.

We both love helping people and find it very rewarding to be part of something that is bigger than just ourselves. Human connection inspires every aspect of our life. We love connecting on a deeper level with people worldwide, immersing ourselves in local cultures, learning new languages, trying new things and developing ourselves by learning from those we meet.

Emma is currently completing a Level 5 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I have a passion for teaching and would love to share with this. Whilst travelling we both enjoy learning new languages and trying to bring this into our day to day. We both are trying to use Arabic whilst on our travels in Jordan, Egypt and Morocco.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both adaptable people who enjoy learning new skills, challenging ourselves and developing as people. We work well as a team but also are both self motivated, and dependable when working independently.

Emma has a range of experience and skills including working within kitchens, waitressing, care homes and hospitals, housekeeping and most recently being the Welfare Manager in international boarding schools within the UK. She has been a freelance transcriber and proof reader for a global media agency as well as a hopeful freelance English tutor (Level 5 TEFL pending).

Matt has been working in the IT sector for almost 10 years now, in a wide range of roles from a small IT repair high street store, all the way up to international enterprise level corporations, including working as a communications and network specialist for the NHS in the hospital within our hometown. Before this, he worked in the kitchen of a fast food chain, successfully being promoted to Shift Manager during his time there.

This experience has given us both the ability to communicate clearly with a vast array of people, even in challenging situations, excellent problem solving skills, and a strong drive to help others. We both have an outgoing and approachable manner, and love teaching people what we know, and sharing our knowledge.

Autres infos...

We both absolutely love a snowy holiday. Matt is an avid snowboarder and surfer (really anything board related) whilst Emma enjoys skiing and is learning surfing (thank you Matt).

We love nature and hiking, we have been on several holidays where this has been the focus including hiking mountains, viewpoint trails and coastal paths. And before going travelling had a very successful fruit & vegetable garden!

Emma enjoys crafts including crocheting, pottery and painting, when she is not out enjoying everything nature has to offer.
Matt has recently finished a campervan conversion at home, insulating, wiring the electrics inside, and building all of the furniture out of timber. He also has a passion for music, and spends a lot of his spare time finding new music and DJing.
