In regards to work, we are openminded. We have practical skills and mindsets, but would also like to use our creativity. We both have experience with farming and do not mind getting our hands dirty.

Description

Hi!

We are Signe and Emma and we are on our way to travel through Europe by train.

We are a couple and have been together for three years. During that time we have seen each other finish our educations (Signe as a pedagogue, Emma as a gardener) and supported each other as we found jobs and have a 9:00 to 5:00 kind of life for some time. But now we want to shake things up and go traveling.

Our plan is to go to Greece and Italy, explore beautiful sites, meet wonderful people, eat delicious food and try something new.
We therefore hope to find a workaway host, whom we can help with our skills or who can give us the opportunity to attain new skills.

More specifically we are looking to find a Workaway host in Sicily for some weeks in December. In regards to what kind of work we are looking for, we are openminded, creative, positive and have a broad set of skills, which we hope to put to use for a good cause.

Here is a little bit about us:

Emma: I am a 30-year woman who loves being outside, cooking and being active by running or climbing. I have an education in regenerative agriculture and project management. I currently work with cooking and farming.

I have traveled quite a lot and during my travels Workaway has given me a lot of great memories. I have worked in both Europe, New Zealand, North and South America and I am immensely grateful for the experiences it has given me. It means a lot for me to be able to contribute and create connections with people from all sorts of backgrounds. I have found working voluntarily as a great way to do exactly this. I therefore hope to have be able to do this with my partner Signe and have a great adventure together.

Signe: I am a 26-year woman, who loves being close to my family and friends, singing and being creative by sewing or knitting, I am an educated pedagogue and work in a school for kids with specialized needs.

I have always strived to be part of a community. When I was a kid it meant being a scout and arranging camping trips and courses for the troop and later in life it meant being a part of a project that facilitated experiences for children affected by the Chernobyl incident. Today it means being part of a queer choir, with whom I sing and perform concerts meant to create smiles.
I have formerly work as a wwoofer in Nepal and would now like to try my hands with voluntary work with my partner, Emma.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

From my travels I have worked in many different fields, which has given me a broad skill set.
Here I have gained experience in areas such as farming - mostly plants, but also taking care of animals, cooking and teaching yoga to name some.

I have furthermore undergone a Kaospilot education in Denmark in project leadership. Here I learned skills within creative leadership, project management and creating and managing events

I am eager to learn, excited to help and love to share my skills.
