Hello everyone ! My name is Emma .
I am a nature lover, crafty person, and adventurer with an insatiable eager to learn
By travelling, I hope to understand more of various people's views and cultures, I am here for the exchange of experiences, skills and knowledges.
I am here for the good simple things, sharing food and a couple of stories with a bunch of good people.

I am interested into community work, into developing ideas around sustainability and building systems that are harmonious to humans and environment.
My deepest interest lies in Nature, and making systems like agriculture closer to it.
I am inspired by permaculture, syntropic agriculture and food forest in my way of cultivating.

I would like to learn and gain inspiration from peoples who live in that kind of manner

Soy un amante de la naturaleza, astuto y aventurero con unas ganas insaciables de aprender.
Al viajar, espero comprender más las opiniones y culturas de varias personas. Estoy aquí para intercambiar experiencias, habilidades y conocimientos.
Estoy aquí por las cosas buenas y sencillas, compartir comida y un par de historias con un montón de buena gente.

Me interesa el trabajo comunitario, el desarrollo de ideas en torno a la sostenibilidad y la construcción de sistemas que sean armoniosos para los seres humanos y el medio ambiente.
Mi interés más profundo radica en la naturaleza y en acercar sistemas como la agricultura a ella.
Me inspiro en la permacultura, la agricultura sintrópica y el bosque alimentario en mi forma de cultivar.

Me gustaría aprender e inspirarme de las personas que viven de esa manera.

I can teach French perfectly as it's my native language. I also can teach English with a good accuracy as I spent 5 years in London. My Italian need some practice but I can understand quite well. Other than that I would love to learn Spanish next, any other languages are welcome of course 😉

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

•DIY AND MANUAL JOBS

I love working with my hands, designing, creating and building things.
I am improving my skills over the years by building things I need, for example furnitures for my apartment.
I especially like to work with wood and I learnt from my dad who is a carpenter.
I can use an extensive range of tools.
I can paint really well and precisely.
Overall I can accomplish a project independently, from the concept and design to the construction of it.


•WORKS IN AGRICULTURE

I cultivate a permaculture garden in France. This garden is composed of perennials species, fruit trees, berries, vignes and annual species, veggies and medicinal plants and also one specie of mushroom (for now).
I cultivate most of the annual species starting from the seeds.
Most of my inspiration come from permaculture, forest garden and regenerative agriculture.
I use no synthesised chemicals , no herbicides or artificial fertilisers.

I also worked in vines, and fruit picking.


•MUSHROOM CULTIVATION

I am currently developing my professional project, my dream is to have a mushroom farm and a laboratory to develop and provide both medicinal and edible mushrooms to local businesses.
Here I have a beginner experience only, I am familiar with the production of substrat, sterilisation process , methods of transfer of mycellium and I already cultivated 3 strains with success .

•HOSPITALITY, FOOD AND BEVERAGE, SERVICES.

Professionaly I have an extensive experience in hospitality, I worked in London for 5 years as a cocktail mixologist and as a bar manager.
So if you like to drink I can make you some pretty incredible drinks!!
There are many things I learned doing that job which I apply in life, I am organised, efficient, and self enduring.
I can work intensely in demanding environments, be patient and calm.

I love cooking and can be very creative at it, this is the language of life and love to me.
I am always happy to learn from people and share ways of cooking from different cultures.
Back home I love going for wild plant gathering , I am familiar with a lot of them, I harvest them and cook with them.
That's my favourite type of cooking!!
