Hello! I am a 29 year old American looking to spend time learning and helping in and around Maine during this late summer window of time I have between other commitments.

*currently looking to workaway for the remainder of August*

*I will be coming from a workshop where I was working with concrete and mold-making and would be happy to share my knowledge, thinking through a concept and helping implement where possible...

As a writer and photographer, I have a practice of recording, documenting, and creating experiences and would love to share these gifts with my hosts. I am also a big picture person who naturally thinks in theory and concept and can implement a creative approach or project in any scenario. I love to use art as a facilitator for communication and expression among groups of people!

I am open to most any new experience and would welcome opportunities to learn more about permaculture and sustainable, resourceful, DIY lifestyles. I am also a native English speaker with a degree in linguistics who would be happy to facilitate language conversation, practice, and play.

Above all of my own personal interests, I believe in the importance of connecting relationally through experiences that challenge our ways of seeing and thinking about the world. (For instance: what is the cost of knowledge? There are skills we can trade, gifts we can give each other by spending time instead of money.)

Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions about my philosophies on life to determine whether we may be a good fit for each other! I have spent years with travelers and transients (of different nationalities, generations, abilities, etc.) as both a host and a guest and I consider hospitality, community, and experimental education to be pillars of my lifestyle.

ESL practice, tutoring, interior and exterior painting, interior design, tablescaping, construction, (some) gardening, restoration*, farming*, yard work, housework, cleaning, babysitting, community event planning and curating spaces, facilitating creative exercises, activities and experiences...

Abilities :
I am up for anything other than perhaps extremely strenuous and/or dangerous physical labor. I have endurance and a strong work ethic, am interested in learning new skills and deepening my understanding of processes and techniques.
