Description

New experiences and what comes from them are of great inspiration to me, consequently travel and new knowledge are a great source of happiness for me. I like the community dimension and the situations in which we live in balance with nature, something which unfortunately I can't do much of in my life here in Milan. I can't wait to enrich my life by traveling and help others build more peaceful realities!

I would like to be able to improve my English level even though I already have a good knowledge of the language; I could also, having already done so, teach the language at high school level. Being a native German speaker, I could easily hold dialogues in the language and therefore teach the basics regarding speaking. Even if I don't have excellent grammatical foundations in German, I would like to be able to do linguistic tandems and consequently learn as well as teaching a new language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked as a waitress in recent years so the main tasks I have dedicated myself to in the last period are those related to catering such as: reception, service, cooking and preparation of cocktails and beverages.
I speak three languages and this led me to work as a translatoras for various companies as a seasonal job. Having attended an artistic high school I developed some skills such as painting and sculpture mainly and through a period of specialization in the scenographic field I also carried out some work relating to woodworking and the construction of structures with different materials (wood, plaster, fabrics. ..) and different functions (artistic installations, exhibition panels, sculptures and costume creations). I have taken small photography courses even though I am still at an amateur level. Through my family I learned, first from my grandparents then at home especially during the Covid period, how to keep a vegetable garden, therefore watering, pruning the plants, planting according to the seasons and the amount of light necessary for the growth of the plants. However, I would like to learn much more about cultivation and how to create self-sufficient and eco-sustainable cultivation realities. In my private life I try to recycle as much as possible from fabrics to food waste and recently I have started to sew some small things myself and therefore to make some items of clothing, even if simple, to avoid buying new ones.

Being a person who likes to learn new things and experiment, I often try to test myself in different areas, sometimes completely new, and this has consequently led me to gain many experiences in the most varied fields:
I worked during the covid period in an escape room and I really enjoyed creating puzzles and rooms both from a "theoretical" point of view and from a manual point of view (for example, construction of panels, painting of surfaces,props etc. ....). Also during my period as an escape room employee, not having the possibility to physically host people, we created as a team an online mode in which people could connect and play together regardless of distances; during these online gaming sessions I was able to learn how to manage calls, record remotely and perform both the role of cameramen in the rooms and the role of speaker/avatar who guided people live during their gaming session. I also worked as an extra in some commercials and speaking three languages I had the opportunity to work as a translator at the fair here in Milan. I have always had a passion for art and this has always led me to draw often and create new things; recently I have started sewing at a very amateur level. I have studied music for many years of my life and I continue to have a great passion for music passed down from my father, a former violinist. I love working in a team and being in contact with people and if possible helping because I really believe in solidarity and in the fact that even in small steps it is always possible to support each other; this way of thinking took me to Kenya in 2018 where I lived for a month and volunteered on a mission. I had the opportunity to help them with my artistic skills (we repainted a school and repainted the local hospital structure) and at the same time I was able to enhance, through new methods, activities such as animation in different age groups and small artistic and sports workshops designed specifically for the context in which we were staying. This experience has had a huge impact on my life and I think it is one of the things that has changed me the most so far and in a very positive way. Once back in Italy I continued to volunteer through social structures near me and I dedicated myself above all to supporting study with children in various age groups (from approximately 8 to 15 years old) during the weekends.
I try when I can to support friends and acquaintances in their artistic and non-artistic projects and I can't wait to be able to do the same in Australia. I hope to make new acquaintances and enrich myself and maybe others too!
