Description
Hello. I joined Workaway to be in relationship to food, medicine and all that sustains us. It is important to me to be in a land based community with people who share the same values.
I love learning, creating art, singing, moving, and sharing. I would love to strengthen my skills weaving, forging, and preserving.
I am from New York, I am beyond grateful to have spent time with my family, while working with a culinary/functional mushroom company.
I went to college in Vermont and studied Outdoor Education, Ecology and a minor I came up with called "Wild Medicine". I have backpacked, led wilderness trips, learned about permaculture, did a Yoga Teacher Training, and spent time in South America learning from communities about perserving ancestral land, art and medicine. I recently completed a course called Guardians of Birth, reclaiming our innate wisdom as birth workers. In the future, I'd love to travel more, volunteer, and perhaps masters in Social Work.
