Hi! I’m Emilie, a Canadian and half German 23 year old :)
My biggest three passions are travelling (obviously), cooking and doing sports!
The first one is to discover new cultures, learn about their culinary traditions, ways of doing and thinking and cultural philosophies. But also to see all the beautiful wonders this world has to offer!
The second one I made my job, I’m about to go to Paris to be a cook at the Olympic Games! Hence why I am so passionate about discovering cultural cooking and traditional dishes :)
The third one includes running (I’ve done two half marathons), swimming (I’ve also done a triathlon sprint), yoga, ultimate frisbee, hiking, and of course dancing!! I love keeping healthy and taking care of my body this way but mostly I think it’s a lot of fun!
I am a very open minded, curious and social person, I actually enjoy working very much hihi but the people you work with always make a big difference!

My first volunteering was on a monkey rehabilitation farm in South Africa, since then I have helped farming in Morocco, worked in hostels in several countries.
Job wise I have been a lifeguard, waitress/busgirl, pâtissière and a cook !
I learn fast and I like physical labour as much as I like mental stimulation and learning!
