Hello! I'm Em and I'm 27 years old, from the UK and the Netherlands. I work within the Criminal Justice System in the UK; having been a prison officer, supported British prisoners internationally and led a rehabilitation program in prisons in the North of England (I have many interesting stories!).

I am looking to leave the UK in August 2024 and begin exploring again! In November 2022 myself and my partner left our jobs in London and supported with workaway projects around Iceland, Norway, Austria, France and Italy. Having been back in the UK for just over a year, I realised I am not finished with exploring different countries and meeting new people!

I am hardworking, caring, creative and always learning. Not only am I looking to create meaningful connections with others, but I am looking to find different ways of living. I am relentlessly optimistic and love to energise others when I can!

I love cooking, being outdoors, learning new crafts and helping others. I was brought up on a farm so I am very practical (I like to think!). My mum is a shepherd in the UK and so I have some experience with sheep and livestock. I enjoy teaching, having been brought up in Steiner, Montessori and state education.

In terms of what I'd like to do, I have no particular experience in mind and I am open to anything! I aim to always exceed expectations and I am a very tidy and organised person. I enjoy a glass of wine in the evening with a meal at times, however I have no dietary requirements and I am open to anything.

I love to read and take any opportunity to go camping and have explored many parts of the UK. I love to crochet, paint and enjoy playing cards, doing creative projects, and listening to podcasts.
