Hi everyone!
I'm Eliza, a 25-year-old girl from Croatia and I've just finished my neuroscience master's program. Spending most of my life in school so far, I developed a big wish to discover something totally new and different. I would like to develop more skills tied to some of my passions, such as sustainability, nature, exercise, photography, cooking, etc. More specifically, I would want to learn about farm work because I want to have my own farm in the future. So, how to fix and build things, and how to work with both plants and animals. I love learning about new cultures; I have lived in 3 countries and participated in projects in several countries. I would be keen on learning more languages, especially Spanish, Italian, German, or French. I have experience working as a babysitter, waitress, cook, skipper, and as an assistant at the university. My plan is to expand my knowledge and skills while doing this gap year with workaway. I also plan to take some online courses to improve in some areas professionally while doing workaway. I cannot wait to meet all of the interesting people out there!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My education is in psychology and neuroscience. I have also worked as a cook, skipper, babysitter, waitress, housekeeper, and photographer. I have most experience with babysitting, as I worked as a babysitter for children at almost all developmental stages. Additionally, I took care of children with special needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech difficulties, cerebral palsy). I also took care of my younger siblings and cousins (oldest granddaughter for 19 of us). I worked as a cook, but I am not a professional. However, I do have a lot of experience. I did some help to my dad in garden, but I am very much a beginner in this area. As I workout, I am able to do some physical work too.
