Hi, I'm Elisabeth from Glasgow, Scotland.
At present I am concentrating on travelling to German-speaking countries. I am studying German with a view to becoming a translator, so I would like to immerse myself in the language as much as possible.
I enjoy being in nature, and like walking and swimming. I also love animals. I sew and paint when I can, and I sing in a choir. I have also done a lot of amateur theatre. I like to spend time both in beautiful countryside and busy, interesting cities, and I hope to experience both with Workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
My last Workaway in autumn 2024 was on a farm and riding school in south-west Germany, where we mainly mucked out the stables, as well as feeding the horses their hay and doing other jobs around the farm. I enjoyed it very much. I have previously volunteered in rewilding projects in the Scottish Highlands and forest access projects in Glasgow. This involved tree planting, cooking for the group, outdoor games and making art from natural materials.
I have also worked in hotel restaurants and kitchens, and so am accustomed to large scale cleaning before, during and after a meal!
I sew regularly as a hobby, and have made bags and simple clothing items. I am happy to do any mending that is needed.
