Hi there! I’m Elina, a 34-year-old Latvian who has embraced a life of adventure and exploration. After over 5 years in a comfortable office job, I took the leap to dive into the unexpected and haven't looked back since. From an unemployed low-budget backpacker traveling South and Southeast Asia, to a digital nomad working and traveling for the past 2.5 years. Now, I’m again at a point of change in my life and reinventing myself.

I’m a positive, responsible, and easy-going person who values kindness above all else. My journey has been anything but linear—I’ve been working since I was 14, which means I’ve worn many hats. I’ve been a maid, entertainer at kids' parties, waitress, salesperson, and and done many customer-facing roles. Although grown up in the city, I spent my childhood summers in the countryside, taking care of farm animals, gardening, and enjoying being in nature.

These experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and the beauty of simplicity - traits I carry with me wherever I go.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors - both on land and on/under water. I love hiking, cycling, freediving, and hope to improve my beginner-level surfing skills at some point. I feel equally at home in forests and mountains as I do by the sea. I thrive on connecting with people from different cultures, exploring their worldviews, and learning new things - but I also cherish quiet moments alone in nature, soaking in its peace and wonder.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: the unexpected holds the most rewarding opportunities. Life is a beautiful adventure, and I’m here for all of it.

My work in recent years has mostly been connected with communicating – clients, affiliates, interviewers, and potential partners, writing newsletters, social media posts, and website content. Also, I have a bachelor’s degree in translation thus I would be happy to help with English. I also speak Russian and German.
