Description

My name is Elias, and I'm from Trier, the oldest city in Germany. I just graduated High School and want to use the time between school and university to explore other countries and meet new people. In my free time, I play the trumpet in an orchestra in my local village. I help organize festivals and work with youth groups, such as traveling as a teamer at youth travel events. I also play a variety of sports, including hiking, soccer, and cycling. I love animals and walking my dog in nature. I work in a care facility for dementia patients to earn money while visiting the school. I love working with people and caring for them. I am a vegetarian and like cooking for myself and others. I really like preparing fresh food. I also enjoy crafting and being active.

I expect my host to provide a pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to improve my language skills. I am open to any type of work and am eager to travel through Europe and the world.

I want to improve my English Skills, that I got from school, so it would be really nice, to visit a family, that speaks english. Besides this I would really appreciate it, to learn basic skills of a new language. My mother language is German and of course I would provide the language to others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I would say that I have good English skills. After finishing school, I want to study medicine. To see if it's really what I want to do, I did an internship in a surgical department of a hospital. Since then, I've been working in a care home for older people. I've also done work experience at a workshop for construction machinery, a company that specialises in electrical work, and a heating and plumbing company. Based on these experiences and the feedback I got, I would say, that I have good practical skills.
I really like working with kids, which I do as a volunteer at a local organisation in my village or with younger family members of my own family.

My favorite games are Carbles and Wizzard. Other interests of mine are watching sport events or doing strength training. Bit in general I am open for everything and look forward to experience new things.
