Description
Hi, this is Cat and i am retired to purpose - meaning i seek to use my freed up time to explore, understand, learn and hopefully make the world better in the days i have remaining. I am an economist by training, an educator-activist by vocation. I developed Critical Economic Literacy to help more people know how to identify and critique the unjust economic systems of our time, and hopefully, to loosen the soil so new seeds of possibilities can be sowed! I am mother of 2 Genzers, and hail originally from Singapore, though i have lived most of my adult life in China, US and Canada.

My partner Hannah/Hong founded and runs a school, so she's still working full time - this is why although i signed us up as a couple, this account is really much more about me as i have a lot more flexibility of time. For my first workaway adventure, I am traveling with the Gung Ho Retirees, these are my older siblings who have retired too. You will see pictures of them in the album.
Hannah and I are both big fans of Freire and teaching for transformation at all levels.
