Hey there, from Donella and Eric Gerritsen!

I came to Asia in 2022 and solo backpacked for 9 months. Along the way, Workaway became my go-to for unforgettable volunteering experiences and meeting amazing people across Southeast Asia.

Now, I'm back, and this time, I've brought along my good friend and father, Eric Gerritsen.

We are currently in the south of Thailand, showing him this incredible side of the world. We are easygoing, optimistic South Africans who approach everything with a positive mindset and a fantastic sense of humor.

I went to an Art School, majoring in the dramatic arts, but I also love getting my hands dirty and discovering the wildness. I run my own marketing business back in South Africa and can assist with all your business and marketing, social media, and photography/ content creation needs.

My father has lived a life of many professions, including being a tool and die maker and a professional cricket player. He owned a seafood restaurant and nightclub in the heart of Johanessburg for over 10 years and ran his own Mobile Service Logistics Company. Trust me, the man knows business!

Together, we will make an incredible team! As father and daughter, we are both incredibly social people and know what it takes to make a successful business work. It has always been a dream of mine to travel and work with my father.
