Description

My name is Dominik, I am 33 years old and I come from Germany. I am a teacher by profession.
However, for the next few months I will be in Canada for work and travel.

After spending last summer traveling through Eastern Canada with my sister and the fall traveling through Central Canada on my own, I headed south to meet my sister in California for Christmas and the first half of January. Traveling through California, Oregon, and Washington for the last few weeks, I now arrived in BC and would like to explore the Vancouver area and Vancouver Island during the next few weeks.

Having wwoofed regularly in Europe in the past few years, I think that workaway and wwoofing in Canada will give me the opportunity to combine meeting local people and spending time with them with contributing to meaningful projects.

I've always loved working in and with nature. My grandparents had a farm, so I'm used to growing vegetables, doing outdoor work, and caring for animals.

After graduating from high school and before going to university, I completed a three-year apprenticeship as a carpenter. As a result, I am quite handy and enjoy repairing things and working at the workbench.

I'm also very excited to see, learn and do new things.
