Hi,
I'm Diego from north east Italy, after working as a gardener for a couple of years I decided to quit and start travelling as long as my savings allow me. I'm going to wander around Europe by bicycle for a few years, the goal is to learn German without a hurry, enjoy life and eventually find a job when needed.
I love being around animals, especially cats as they've been part of my life since I was a kid. I can help you with cleaning, gardening and DIY projects, I'm not a good cook but I like learning new recipes and trying new flavours.

I had a beautiful week with Xavier, the place is simply amazing with the view on the Donau and the hills, the garden with flowers, medical herbs and the forest behind. It's very relaxing to sit on the chair outside and enjoy the peace.

Diego had a stay of one week at my place. He was all the time very honest, respectfull and tooked the work missions very serious and tryed all the time to make a good work. I very much enjoyed the time Diego was here, he is a quiet, friendly and diligent young man, always pleasant to be with. No matter which task, he just did it. I've spent 6 weeks with Ingrid and it was a nice stay.
The work was mostly feeding the horses 2 times a day and collecting the poop, sometimes some other chores, it was more work than I expected as the poop in winter freezes and takes more time to collect it, but I didn't mind it and still had good free time. Judith and Oliver have been fantastic hosts. I arrived there in December with a knee injury and then got sick, they basically took care of me and let me rest a lot, I worked so little in December that it felt unfair towards them; they let me come back in February and March and finally I've been able to help them more with the renovation.
