Description

Devon: I am a farmer interested in ecology, permaculture, horticulture, community, seed saving, art making, and learning new things.

I have stayed at workaways relating to permaculture and eco-farming in the USA and Mexico. I have lots of experience growing things, as well as directing and teaching volunteers and interns. I am always seeking to learn more, have new experiences, and increase my breadth/depth of expertise in sustainable agriculture so that I can teach others.
Intentional community and spirituality are also long-term interests of mine which I would like to explore more.

Hussein: I am an electrical engineer researching solar cell technology. 3 years ago I came to the US to work on my PhD; before that I lived most of my life in Kuwait.
I love to travel and learn about new places and cultures. Arabic and English are my 1st and 2nd languages and I am currently studying Spanish. On Workaway I am especially looking for more experience in farming, both plants and and animals.
