Les activités qui nous intéressent :

We are currently in Paris, discovering the most visited city in the world, trying to see all it has to offer. We just walk around the city the whole day appreciating every small thing.

Description

Ever since we got together, more than 2 years ago, we realized we wanted to travel and discover the world. Wanting to explore more than just mass tourism, we found out about Workaway as a platform to exchange culture, experiences and we loved it!

Sofia: I'm a person really in touch with nature, who is obsessed with animals, and a lover of beautiful sunsets with bunch of greenery and a nice breeze. Other big interests are art, cultural exchange, and a looot of history (not an expert, just an enthusiast).
I'm very motivated by having a healthy routine, and being surrounded by love and tranquility in my day to day. Fleetwood Mac is my current go to band to listen to!!

Davi: I'm very easygoing, and love good conversations and fun games. Design is one of my biggest passions, and I have lots of curiosity and a will to learn about various topics. Besides that, I like doing fun sports, and I love nature, I love to take some time to admire specially animals and plants.

We're both interested in sharing brazilian culture and teaching portuguese. Also, we're able to teach english, and are very excited to get even better in it. Through learning different languages we're able to also learn about different cultures, habits, stories, and just being able to communicate with different people is really awesome. Davi: Right now I'm learning French. I've already made 6 months of a French language course, but now I'm using Duolingo and am learning content aligned with the early A1 level of CEFR.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both fluent english speakers, and we handle pretty well house tasks (cleaning, tidying up, storing and a little of cooking). We are also very creative, caring, proactive and have good social skills. Also, since Sofia is a Environmental Science student and Davi is a big plants person, we have decent gardening abilities .

Davi: I have experience with many design areas, specially graphic design, and have done personal artistic projects, so drawing and basic painting are in my skills set. I also really like DIY projects, so I'm used to searching and adventuring myself in new handy things in the house, kitchen or garden, and I'm good in doing that. I, myself, don't have a garden, but since I have 13 healthy beautiful plants in my apartment, I consider myself to have quite a green thumb.

Sofia: As said earlier, I'am an Environmental Science student, so I have a lot of knowledge in sustainable and eco-friendly activities, such as a sustainable agriculture. I'm also very dedicated to search and doing the best I can in the tasks I'm given. I can handle pretty well spreadsheets since i worked with Excel and other platforms for almost 2 years as an intern. Furthermore, I'm very independent, and though I love some help, learning and doing activities with other people, I'm used to finding ways to solve my own problems.

Lately we discovered that we are big fans of board games. Add a nice board game with good company and it's a lot of fun! We enjoy doing crosswords, reading about different things, listening to music, and watching movies. Being in nature is something we both also love! So hikes and a walk around a park are axciting and rewarding activities. (can we consider people-watching a hobby?)

Sofia: Photographing beautiful things is a habit of mine, you'll always see me with my phone taking pictures of everything! I consider myself a person who enjoys tranquility and relaxing activities so I just looove sitting in a nice place to sunbathe, observe the surroundings and feel the breeze.
Not only dancing through my favorite songs but also just stretching so I could move my body a little is something relaxing/fun to me. In my free time, I'd love to just walk around the streets by myself, seeing the different houses, people and local animals to pet.

Davi: I have a lot of fun making personal design projects, and sometimes mixing it with some arty things, such as drawing and painting. Another hobby of mine is writing film reviews on Letterboxd, it helps me think about the movie I watched and I like to make some funny analogies. Also I enjoy skateboarding, some ball sports, taking care of my lil plants and playing videogames.
