I'm a 19 year-old student from Scotland who loves learning and practicing languages, and spending time in other cultures! I study English Literature and Italian at university, and my hobbies include music (I play the piano, clarinet and I sing too), running and creative writing. Through Workaway i hope to improve my Italian and French language skills and explore some new ways of life!

Would be delighted to teach English - I am patient and I understand the rules of the language. Being a language student myself at university, I also am familiar with the learning process, the importance of practicing writing, speaking, reading and listening equally, for example. I also look to improve my Italian and French.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Language -
As I mentioned, one of my skills and passions is learning languages. I am fluent in English, and have a strong grasp of Italian and French. I have a basic understanding of Spanish too.

- Manual Labour -
I live on a farm, which means i am used to working outdoors! I am not afraid to get dirty and I always work hard.

- Work experience -
I am naturally sociable and chatty, and i love to learn about other people's lives! I currently work as a waiter in two different establishments, which means I am used to interacting with guests and solving problems, often in a pressured environment.
I am trained in food and drink service. I also often give recommendations to guests about where to visit in the local area.

- Music-
I have a Grade 8 qualification in singing, piano and clarinet. I am also around Grade 6 standard in saxophone.
I am taking on the role of Musical Director in a university band in September, which involves arranging and running rehearsals, as well as working on the band's sound.

- Organisation -
My schedule at university is busy, so I place great importance in being organised and planning ahead.
In September i will take on the role of Secretary for a large society at my university.
