Description

Hi, my name is Daniel. I'm 23 years old and live close to Frankfurt in Germany.
I have been studying economic engeneering for 4 years, which is a mixture of economics and mechatronics. Currently, I'm looking for some Workaway-adventures after I will finished my last exams in August.
Instead of hanging loose with my friends, I thought it would be a good idea to go abroad with Workaway and do something useful while lending a hand to someone who may need my help. I'm very openminded and interested in learning new things about new cultures, meeting new people and exploring new countries, especially in Scandinavia.
During my studies, I live in a flat share with two friends, but grew up in a family with my parents and several brothers. I 'm used to taking over responsibilities inside and outside home and for eachother.
Music is my greatest passion. I play saxophone and make music in several bands and orchestras. I also love to spend time with my friends or to go for lang walks and have deep talk. I often help out in our church parish and work every year as a teamer during the parish summer camp for kids. Therefore I can really say that I'm used to take over responsibilities, being a responsible and trustful person.
I love being in the nature and especially hiking. When I was younger, I often went fishing with my father and I helped my grandpa with his chickens. I'm not afraid of hard physical work. Two years ago, during my summer break, I stayed on a pig-farm next to Bergen in Norway, where we had some building projects, for example houses for the pigs or the foundation for a barn. On another Workaway-trip, I helped out in an old factory on the Lofoten, that was renovated and turned into a hostel.
I'm a big fan of doing roadtrips as well. Because of that, I'm working for a company that builds Camper Vans and we're doing regular campingtrips. I always enjoy this open-minded and familiar spirit, beeing outside the whole day and meeting new people and mindsets.

I´m very openminded, trustworthy, with a good sence of humor.
I have some experience with general household maintenance and the use of tools (painting, drilling, etc.), also gardening.
I also have some experience with hard physical work.
I´m experienced with common housekeeping work.
In general, I try to complete my tasks responsible and effective.
