Hi there!

My name is Dana Schuster, I’m 25 years old, and I live near Hanover in Germany. I’m currently studying to become a teacher with a focus on English and History, and as part of my studies, I’m excited to spend three months in an English-speaking country.

I’ve always been passionate about animals, and I’m especially interested in Workaway opportunities where I can care for or work with animals. Back home, I share my life with three cats (I actually rescued three of them from the streets when they were in very bad shape and nursed them back to health). I also have two wonderful dogs—one of them is a rescue from Romania. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy, and I truly believe every living being deserves a happy and fulfilling life.

When I’m not busy with my furry friends, I love reading—especially Japanese novels translated into English, which often happen to be about cats (yes, I really do love cats!). I’m an easygoing, friendly, and fun person who enjoys meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

I also have experience in several areas:
• Hospitality (working in cafés/restaurants)
• Tutoring (helping students with schoolwork)
• Caregiving (providing support for people in need).

This trip is a great chance for me to improve my English and make meaningful connections along the way. I’d love to help out wherever I can, learn new things, and share good conversations and laughs with my hosts.

I have a lot of experience in different kinds of work. I trained as a nurse, worked in hospitality, and I’ve been giving tutoring lessons for a long time. These jobs have taught me to be responsible, organized, and hardworking.

I also have a lot of experience with animals and know how to care for them properly. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and always do my best to help where I can. I enjoy working hard and learning new things, and I always stay positive, no matter the task.
