Hello, fellow workawayers!

My name is Dominik, and I'm thrilled to embark on a journey filled with unforgettable experiences, meaningful connections, and the opportunity to contribute my skills wherever I go.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I come from a small town called Púchov in western Slovakia, but I've spent most of my life in an even smaller village called Mojtín, also in Slovakia. Currently, I'm based in Brno, the second largest town in the Czech Republic, where I completed my master's degree in mathematical approaches in economics in 2021. I work as a sales operations analyst in a small IT company, where I assist in analyzing sales and marketing data.

Now, let's talk about my skills and interests. I would consider myself a music enthusiast. You'll always find me with my earbuds, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. While I enjoy various genres, I particularly gravitate towards post metal, progressive metal, stoner metal, rap and trap. I also appreciate synthwave, phonk, alternative rock and soul.

Photography is a huge passion of mine. Whenever I'm out and about, I love capturing moments with my phone camera. Recently, I purchased my first digital single-lens reflex camera to enhance my skills and delve into the world of photography.

During my free time, I engage in activities such as inline skating, problem-solving on indoor climbing walls, hiking in nature, playing video games on my laptop, or simply indulging in some lazy binge-watching of TV series. I also enjoy playing team sports like football, basketball, or volleyball as an amateur.

I have a great fondness for various global cuisines, with Italian, Indian, and Mexican being my favorites. Cooking is a hobby of mine, and I love trying new recipes in my spare time.

Whenever I return home to Slovakia, I'm greeted by a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Luka, who is considered a part of our family. I adore animals and enjoy spending time with them whenever I get the chance.

I also love spending time with my girlfriend Natália, who is from the northern region of Slovakia, Orava. Whenever I visit her, we have a great time hiking through the beautiful nature of Orava, exploring new places, taking care of her 5-year-old brother or helping her parents with various technical and household activities.

Overall, I'm open to discussing a wide range of topics such as politics, current world news, music, or economics with anyone who's interested.

I thought of workaway as an amazing chance to assist people while also having the opportunity to travel and explore countries I haven't had the chance to visit yet. It's a way for me to learn about different cultures, experience the beauty of foreign landscapes, wander through fascinating cities, and, last but not least, add more photos to my collection.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In my everyday life, I spend a minimum of 8 hours sitting in front of a computer as part of my job requirement. That's why I find great pleasure in spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature, or assisting with household tasks. If you need assistance with computer-related issues or require help with Microsoft Excel, I can lend a hand.

When I'm at home or my girlfriend's place, I'm always available with various weather-dependent activities, such as do-it-yourself projects around the house, gardening, home maintenance, cleaning or cooking. If you provide clear instructions, I can help with anything you need.

Additionally, I'm enthusiastic about expanding my knowledge of photography and improving my skills to capture better photos.
