Hi mates!! I am Damiano, a 24 Italian backpacker hungry for life!
After having left the university of bologna behind me, I decided to start traveling as a lifestyle. Australia, Spain, and France have been the main places that hosted my willingness to catch up with new inspiring, and engaging souls during the last year. I love to get my hands dirty, learning new ways to be as self-sufficient as i can. Farming, permaculture, carpentry, handcrafting, and animal caring are some of the principal environments I would like to discover, so experts come out of the shadow, I am here to share and collect your knowledge.
I am planning to have a trip to Asia in mid-April, but before leaving Italy I would have a workaway experience here, in my country, in order to better understand travelers' or settled-down travelers' points of view about diverse ways of living.

Yes, i am! I consider it the best part of traveling: helping each other and improving how skills. I can say to be fluent in Italian (obv) and English, so do not worries for that. I would try to strengthen my spanish and why not, give french a shoot.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Coming from the countryside I have always been used to working in the fields and getting my hands dirty. I played rugby for 10 years and during the last two and a half, I was a professional one ( from 16-19 years old).
I worked as a handyman, delivery guy, and assistant chef at a couple of pizzerias.
I was an educator for the Italian scouts association for children from 8 to 17 years.
I have done several volunteer activities in centers for the disabled and rehab communities.
During the last summer, I have been traveling volunteering, workawaying, and working mainly in farms or eco-villages. I am open to any activity since i am taking some time for myself and to discover myself. I really like to live with the hosting family (sharing my experiences and listening to yours) but also to have time to explore the areas around and do my stuff.
