Description
My name is Costanza Bracelli, and I am a young and enthusiastic student from Italy, eager to make a positive impact wherever I go. By July, I will be graduating with a degree in Political Science and International Relations, a course that has deepened my understanding of global issues and further fueled my passion for making a difference.
Currently based in the vibrant city of Milan, I have had the privilege of engaging in various volunteer opportunities in my community. One notable project I participated in aimed to bridge the gap between the city center and its outskirts. Growing up in a more privileged neighborhood, this experience allowed me to step out of my bubble and see different realities. I formed genuine friendships and bonds that I cherish deeply, all while gaining a broader perspective on life.
In addition to my studies, I have always worked as a babysitter, caring for children of all ages since I was 16. This work has allowed me to develop patience, understanding, and has given me the opportunity to express my creativity while having fun playing with children. The joy and fulfillment I get from working with children is one of my greatest sources of happiness.
I am excited about the prospect of traveling and immersing myself in new cultures. I believe that true understanding and appreciation of different ways of life come from direct experience and meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds. My linguistic skills reflect my dedication to this belief: I am fluent in English at a C1 level and have a solid command of French at a B2 level.
I have always admired traveling alone, as it brings me a sense of relaxation and independence. At the age of 16, I traveled to Australia to attend high school for six months. Living with a host family and experiencing a different culture firsthand was transformative. From that moment, I knew I wanted to explore the world and its myriad cultures, broadening my horizons with each new experience.
I am adaptable, resilient, and always ready to learn new things. These qualities enable me to handle new challenges with confidence and to thrive in different environments.
Beyond my professional and volunteer experiences, I find happiness in many other aspects of life. I am very sociable and love spending time with my friends, as their company brings me joy and energy. I enjoy hiking in the mountains and being in nature, which provides me with a sense of peace and tranquility. Among my favorite hobbies are practicing yoga and enjoying music, both of which help me to relax and stay centered. I am an alpine skier and was part of a ski club from the age of 5 to 16, competing in races. I love this sport and still practice it every winter; it makes me feel free.

I have a strong passion for teaching English, which I have been studying since I was 6 years old. My international experiences, including an exchange in Sydney and an Erasmus program in Geneva, have significantly enhanced my English proficiency. These opportunities allowed me to study and communicate effectively in English, cultivating both my grammar skills and fluency. I maintain regular contact with numerous international friends, enabling me to practice English daily and refine my speaking abilities. I have experience tutoring English to children aged 7/8 to 16/17, helping them develop their language skills through engaging lessons. Additionally, I have an intermediate level of proficiency in French. During my Erasmus in Geneva, I immersed myself in French-speaking environments and underwent significant improvement over six months through classes and daily interactions. I am eager to further enhance my French skills and deepen my understanding by residing in a French-speaking country. Italian is my native language, and I am proficient in teaching it as well. I am enthusiastic about sharing my language expertise and fostering learning in others.
