Hello, I'm a Canadian/French university student interested in the learning and teaching of languages. I am currently taking part in a Spanish educational program called NALCAP where American and Canadian students help teach English in Spanish schools. In between semesters, I'm looking for a volunteering gig ideally having to do with the teaching of English. I also speak fluent French but am more comfortable with teaching English. I am also learning Spanish here in Spain.
I love writing, reading, music, history and learning languages.

Growing up bilingual in Canada (English and French), I've always been interested in languages. I've spent the last school year (starting in October) living in Spain, partly to ameliorate my Spanish. Here i'm helping teach English to Spanish elementary school children in a small pueblo.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the past six months, starting in October, I've been helping teach Spanish children (from primary to grade 6) English. Over this period of time, I've been learning how to effectively teach a language to children as well as motivating them to learn. I've gone through 2 years of university so far, focusing on history, but language learning in particular has been a very strong interest of mine for a long time. I also love writing, and am very passionate about the benefits of writing as a form of self analysis and self expression.
