Hellooo! My name is Laura and my husband is Cory.
We are both easy-going, creative people. We love art and spend a lot of our free-time creating. We both paint but I enjoy photography, hand sewing, and really anything that uses our hands. Cory has a clothing/creative brand that he has been growing for about 5 years now but has experience in a lot of different trade jobs using many different types of tools and machines. We have wanted to travel and work on projects around the world like this for about 12 years. We recently got married and decided it was time to make the move. We are looking for hosts that prefer anywhere from 2 weeks-2 month stays.

We love the outdoors and don't mind getting dirty. We camp about every other weekend when weather is even remotely decent, so we are happy to be outside working. We are also fine doing work inside. Like I said, we are both easy-going, so up for anything- Including working with animals!<3

We love working with kids and think it's a lot of fun. I have worked at at a summer camp the past couple of summers. The first year I was a counselor to 6-9 year olds and loved it. This past summer I was a ministry leader. I was more of a counselor to the counselors and that was awesome too. Cory grew up with his grandmother running a daycare and has helped with local after school programs for years.

We just want to get out of the US and see what all we are missing and bring what we learn back to our community. Our hope is to connect with some awesome people, help some awesome projects, and experience life at a lot slower pace.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are skilled in painting and anything creative. We have experience working with kids/teaching, some experience gardening, cooking, photography, maintaining a home, and working around animals, working with others, sewings, graphic design, etc.
Cory has experience in digital marketing, videography, and using adobe software.

We really value our alone time, so we love to work independently. We are happy to cook for ourselves and function independently from hosts of that is preferred.
