Hi! I am Corinna :)
I am an active person, who loves spending time outdoors and finds energy and inner peace in nature. My passions are travelling (on my bicycle, touring style) and learning languages and new cultures - and trying out all the amazing food that each new place has to offer, of course! I like to live as much as I can following a few principles to make my existence lighter on our planet and beneficial (or, at least, not detrimental) to others. I believe in regenerative lifestyles, in the power of community, in acts of kindness and in open, non-violent communication. On my way to learn more skills and wisdom in order to grow more in this direction, as well as to challenge myself and develop through hardships.
I subscribed to Workaway with the intention of getting in touch with those people and communities with whom I could share some part of my life and possibly fulfil my wishes of self-development. My next destination will be Mexico, and from there I will travel through other central and south american countries, as the flow will lead me. I would love to learn about natural construction, local flora and fauna, habitat and cultural preservation, and strategies for responsible and slow tourism. Looking forward to crossing paths with you, if it's meant to be! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I enjoy cooking vegetarian/vegan meals and baking low-sugar, healthy cakes and sweet treats. I don't mind hard physical work, and I love being involved in activities outdoors - sports I practice more or less regularly are cycling, beach volley, skiing, kick boxing/muay thai, bodyweight workout and some yoga. I also like dancing, and wish I'd do more of that!!
In the past I have volunteered at an eco-centre and community garden, where I also helped out with educational activities for children (non-formal education), but I wouldn't say that working with kids is my favourite thing. I have some basic skills in working with power tools and materials such as wood, stone and concrete, but I would definitely like to improve in this!
On the side of digital competencies, I know how to manage social media pages (posting, promotions and paid ads, etc.), how to use PowerPoint and Canva for visual contents, and I am currently learning more about video editing. I would say that I am discreetly good at using a computer to get a job done, but the hardware has never been my friend. The same goes with mechanical stuff, unfortunately. I enjoy more hanging out with living things like animals, and animals seem to like me, too :)
