Hello! My name is Connor. I am a recent college graduate who has became fascinated with the idea of sustainable living. I enjoy collaborating with others and working together towards solutions to problems and am eager to learn more about the various projects people are working on related to natural building, farming, permaculture, landscape design, etc.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Farm Experience: I've worked on a farm the past two summers and hence have a wide range of experience with typical farm operations such as working with heavy equipment, hooking up ball hitch trailers, driving flatbed trailers, securing tractors and equipment to trailer beds, welding, conducting vehicle maintenance such as oil and air filter replacements, using multimeters with engine electrical components, cutting metal with a bandsaw, and managing irrigation systems

Educational Experience: I majored in Agricultural engineering in college and therefore have a very good idea of various agriultural practices and land and water resource management, I am also proficient with Geospatial software for the analysis of watersheds and land area

Music: I play upright and electric bass, guitar, and violin. I'm a fan of all genres of music and love a good campfire guitar hangout!

Outdoor experience: I'm an avid rock climber and hence have experience working with safety equipment, camping outdoors, navigating difficult terrain, and in general maintaining a high degree of fitness.

A long term goal of mine is to better understand indigenous building and land management techniques and hopefully one day apply that knowledge to projects around the world by working with local communities facing challenges related to drought and severe weather. I think workaway is a great place to start working towards this goal!
