It's time to hit the road again ! I want to discover Brazil, its people and its culture while improving my Portuguese and giving a hand wherever it's needed.

Hi everyone !

I'm Clémence, a 30 years old travels lover. Travelling makes me feel good. I like to discover new places, meet people, learn about languages and culture. Being surrounded by people from all around the world and share happy moments together is one of the things I appreciate the most. I challenge myself by going out of my comfort zone. Sometimes it's hard, sometimes I make mistakes. But most of the time it worth it and I learn a lot.

I especially enjoy to do work away. It's a nice way to exchange with local people, sharing their daily life and get involve into it. I already did work away in Ireland, Spain, Kenya and Canada, doing different things : gardening, animal caring and pet sitting, house painting, selling, general maintenance...

In my home country, and during my travels, I did several things : administration, customer service, tour guide, teacher, work with teens... This year I've returned to the Uni, studying to be a French teacher (I have some experience in this field). I come to Brazil in order to improve my Portuguese and discover the country and its culture. My project is then to settle somewhere in the country and teach French.

About my skills and hobbies, I speak French, English, Spanish and I'm learning Portuguese. I can teach you French if you like. I like doing manual jobs, even if I have no special skills, but if you show me I can learn fast. I enjoy doing creative activities, like reusing old stuffs, decorate items and furniture. I like cooking and baking - nothing extraordinary, really, but I like it. I enjoy watching films, listening to music and taking photos. I can play the flute (I played in an Irish music band for two years) and a little bit of the guitar. I like doing sports such as hiking, running, yoga, rock climbing, and outdoor activities in general. I'm passionate about literature and always have a book started.

What else can I tell? I'm interested in many things and always appreciate to discover and learn new things.

I'm looking forward to live new adventures, and maybe be part of your community !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can speak French, English, Spanish and a bit of Portuguese. I have skills in teaching French, in customer service (experiences in restaurants, cafés, shops, national park, administration). I have some knowledge of gardening and animal caring thanks to my work away experiences. I can play the flute and read a music sheet. I have some basic knowledge in cooking and baking. I'm quite good at planning and organizing events and trips.
