Hi, we are a french couple of 20 (Clement) and 21 (Maëlle) years old.

I'm Clement,
I'm a twenty year old french engineering student who loves to discover the world. I like walking alone in nature as much as spending days with my friends. I love animals, I grew up with a dog, 2 cats, 3 hens and even fishes !
I really like nature, talking around a fireplace in winter, walking in the woods and reading.
When I was 15, I had the chance to go to Germany for 3 months. It was a beautiful and amazing experience that allowed me to discover a whole new culture. Last summer (2023) i worked one month in a llama and alpaca farm in Germany thanks to Workaway. It was a wonderful experience.
I once again have the opportunity to go abroad for one month (in summer 2024) to help you with your projects. This time i want to share this experience with my girlfriend Maëlle.

Hi ! My name is Maëlle and I’m a 21 years old girl. I’ve got a Psychology degree (3 years in France) I’m now on Education Sciences.
I used to travel as a tourist in Europe : Spain, England with school, Italy, Belgium and Germany. I’ve been with my grand-mother to Thailand and Cambodia. It’s one of my favorite memory so far !
Now, I would like to discover a new way to travel. I want to get a new experience, to learn new culture and and discover new people and exhange with them.
I live in France and I have got 4 cats, I really love animals.

This is for us the opportunity to help people and to discover a new way of life.

We both eat everything and are not picky eaters and have no allergies.

We both like to learn new languages. I (Clement) have some German basics that I would like to improve. We both understand English well, we both manage to make ourselves understood but we can still improve. Maëlle has some basics in spanish. We are also able to teach our language (french) to others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Here are some examples of help we can provide :
we can help chop wood, store wood for the winter, run a shop, clean a house or a barn, take care of animals and feed them, pick fruits and harvest vegetables, clean animal enclosures...

One summer I (Clement) helped the father of a friend to renovate an old house in ruins, we positioned new wooden beams and rebuilt the walls with old stones.
During my (Clement) first Workaway experience in a farm in Germany, I helped feeding the llamas with hay, i dug holes to plant trees or flowers. I once even helped a llama give birth ! I also watered the plants and trimmed the hedges. I of course also helped at home by setting the table clearing the cutlery and plates. I'm a student in engineering school so I have skills in maths, physics, chemistry and skills in computing but I don't think it's useful here :)

Maëlle has already worked in a museum where she spoke a lot with foreign visitors. She is used to working with children, the elderly and people with disabilities. She draws and paints a lot. Indeed, she loves art.

We both really love nature and working with animals. As we live in the countryside, we are used to working conditions on the farm.
We are obviously open to learning any new skills and would be happy to help !

I like board games and I love to play chess (even if I'm not very good at it). I think you have understood that I love nature, especially the forest, but I also like to discover new cities.
