Description

Fascinated by nature, horses and animals and general, art an design, I am looking to improve my English speaking and discovering another culture. I speak French (native language), English and a little bit of Spanish and I'm passionate about Scandinavian countries and adventure

I am a sociable person, easy to live, very curious and willing to make things well. I'm also vegetarian.
I ride since 16 years and I have my 7th gallop. I had the opportunity to get and care about two horses and It's a real passion for me.I know well horses, their needs, their behavior: I love taking care of them. I also have my own horse with which I make some dressage and groundwork (horsemanship method).
I studied product design in Paris and I'm crazy about design ( Nordic design) and art in general.
I also love culture, literature and usually read a lot. I also started to practice some photography and have a nice Canon camera which follow me in all my trips.

Enthusiastic and motivated, I hope I will have the pleasure to read from you and to learn more about you in the country in which you live.

I have my international driving license

2022 : I traveled a lot in the US and did two super workaways in Montana and California.
Kind of jobs I did: caring for animals and sick animals (especially lame horses), helping to prepare a wedding (about 250 people), gardening (removing weeds, harvesting, drying herbs, dehydrating some veggies...), DIY and work in the workshop, cooking (...)

Since November I arrived in Canada and experienced a new lifestyle, especially with winter and big snaps cold (until -28 degrees). I find myself happy in the cold and I'm quite surprised how well my body handle this kind of temperatures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

. 17years around horses : feeding horses, lunging, groundwork and horsemanship, riding including trails, mucking out, cleaning pastures, basic training with foals, handling stallions, mending fences (...)
. A few experiences in moving cows horseback/sorting cows and cattle driving
. Equestrian trek leader experience in Ireland, both beginners and intermediate riders

. taking care of all animals (I just love all of them !) : hens and chickens, cats, dogs, sheeps, donkeys, pigs, buffalos (...)

. basic knowledge about vegetables and fruits growing, garden care: cleaning and removing weeds, planting, harveting, trimming, drying herbs, dehydrating some veggies

. wood stacking/ spliting

. painting (stables, buildings and cabins, fences) and small reparations
. DIY (can use some machines as well as the circular saw)

. cooking vegetarian meals

. more artistic stuff : photography, drawings and sketchings, color knowledge, design culture, small prototypes

Some experiences I had :

. 2018: I've been an helper one month in a Swedish ranch. I worked with horses, animals (dogs and chickens), customers who came for a tourriding (...)
Some tasks that I realized : Painting and mending fences, weeding and harvesting, feeding dogs, horses, chickens, cats (...), cleaning stables, groundwork and riding, working with foals ( I had to train them to have the halter, be brush, walk with the human, go to the field or go to the stable(...)), pick some fruits and vegetables (...)

. 2019: Groom in Norway (showjumpers stable)
. 2020: Helping in a old Tori stud (very rare horse breed) called Hargo Talu in Estonia
. 2021: Equestrian trek leader in Ireland (one month). I also gave short equestrian lessons for both beginners and intermediate riders
