Hi !
I’m Clarisse Laurent, I’m 20 years old. I discovered this passion of travelling while going to Ireland (thanks to workaway ), as well as this passion for languages. How we can communicate or not with people depending on where we live and how learning a language is like discovering a new way of thinking and of seeing the world. It's knowing the world a bit more.
I'm currently studying translation and interpretation but I enjoy going on trips during school vacations and summer holidays to continue learning from others, meeting new people and discovering new places. And of course continue practicing English, Spanish as well as learning new languages like Portuguese ;)

Yes, I did a workaday during my gap year to learn English and thanks to what I discovered a real passion for languages. I've found that being a translator or interpret could really makes me happy. I do want to learn Spanish and Portuguese but will happily learn any other languages. As French is my first language, I would be more than happy to teach to people that wish to learn it, in the most patient, funny and educational way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very motivated to share and help. I love the contact and communication.
Since my childhood I have been taking care of my two brothers, thanks what I have acquired great patience and understanding. I was also doing a double courses in high school ( school on mornings, soccer on the afternoons) for 3 years. This taught me independence, regularity and great organisation skills.
I've lived in Ireland during my gap year and after living in Galway for few months I decided to stay to study sociology and political studies during the year 2022-2023. At the same time I was working as a customer assistant in a sport shop (Sports direct), and I loved it :)

Well, I love life (most of the time, sometime it sucks but well, that's what life is and what makes it so wonderful isn’t it?😉)
Communicating and learning about other's culture, way of thinking... are really interesting and resourcing for me. I have no trouble talking, debating, comforting : I appreciate it above all. I also love sports more than anything else, especially football, but every sports are teaching something different, so perfect let's try it !
I love to help, and I try to understand quickly to be the more efficient possible, with always a smiling face.
Adventures are so magic, experiencing every little thing daily is what brings me to life.

  I try to eat as much organic food possible and cook myself healthy meals. I eat meat/fish twice or three times a week. But I will of course adapt myself to the "routine" of the host
