Description

I’m currently travelling to try to widen my horizons both geographically and culturally. So I thought that Workaway would be a great solution to do both!
I’m from a small town in Denmark so being able to travel is a huge privilege.

I’ve done all different kinds of work: retail, substitute teacher in primary/secondary school, worked at a hotel (both in the kitchen and also odd jobs around the hotel) and I’m a certified ski instructor (I have worked in Italy and Austria).

I’m highly motivated by the people around me and also the drive in me to always do my best in any aspect/arena of my life and what I do. Nature and adventure brings me happiness as well as reading a good book with a cup of tea and having good conversations - the small things in life.

I’m an adventurous person who is ready to meet new people and experience and learn new things. I’m a reliable and calm person as well as thorough - I don’t do anything half-heartedly.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a high school diploma where I focused on English, social studies and Italian. I have always loved learning.

I have worked in retail which have taught me the ability to meet people at their level and work together with colleagues.

I have worked as a substitute teacher in primary and secondary school where I followed the teacher’s lesson plan but also improvise when needed during the lesson. I love working with young people - it’s so fun and motivating but also very challenging.

For two seasons I have worked as a ski instructor in Europe. As a ski instructor you learn to adapt to and overcome difficult situations whether it being with clients or getting a group of children down from the mountain during a sudden snowstorm. You learn to keep calm and solve the challenge.
