Currently working remotely as a Project Manager but would love to connect of farm/pet/house sitting opportunities this summer where I can continue to work remotely but take excellent care of both properties and pets.

Born and raised on a dairy/beef farm in Ireland, I have spent the last 8 years living and working in Canada.

Growing up on a farm, I know there is always something to be done and I honestly think, once you are raised that way, it never leaves you. The youngest of six children, I know alot about busy households and fending for yourself. This has led me to be easily adaptable to all kinds of schedules and able to work alone or with others to get the job done.

I love animals of all types and have experience working with cattle, dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, chickens and horses. I had a horse for about 10 years but have not been around them constantly in 15 years of so but still comfortable around them and do as much trail riding as I can. Familar with English and Western riding. In awe of horses in general.

Comfortable with dairy and beef cattle. Would need a refresher on milking as my family are beef farmers now but I am a very quick learner and always loved milking before and after school. Don't love bulls but I'll do it! Have assisted with calving and happy to learn all I can on that end. Most of my cows have names and require a scrath when cleaning the sheds. Have a tractor license but very little experience. We didn't have a sheepdog, so you guessed it, I was the sheepdog and cheap labor.

Love all the rest of what comes along with farming life. I'm a decent baket, love gardening, can work a log splitter, cut grass, bench hay and make an excellent cup of tea (I'll share my Barry's Tea, don't worry).

Self proclaimed favorite aunt of 9 nieces nephews, youngest of 6 kids, favorite is a tie between me and my brother Paudie, and my mother is one of 16 so very used too and love having family around.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Growing up on a farm I helped out with everything from miking, feeding, fencing, dosing cattle, bringing in the hay, covering silage pit. I wouldn't say I am an expert on anything, but I am a really quickly learner, great with animals and really eager to learn and help. Always had dogs and cats on the farm too so very aware of their needs and always offer to take care of friends animals while they are on vacation.

I had a horse growing up. I'm not the prettiest or best rider but I love horses and am comfortable riding western and English. I have done a bunch of trail riding in ON and AB and loved it.

We grow all our own veg at home and my parents have a stunning garden so have a lot of time for gardening and growing veg.

Basically very content to spend as much time outdoors as possible.

During college I worked in cafe's and I am a decent baker and cook, leaning more towards traditional Irish offerings. Make a great Irish soda bread, scones and apple tarts.

My day job in project coordination for a non for profit, and I am also completing a diploma in software development next month so would be happy to take a look at anything if you need help with anything in that area. If I can help, I will.

I grew up playing a ton of sport so I am pretty physically fit and really enjoy manual labour, especially after spending so long behind a desktop.

Very easy going nature, people say I am kind of funny and happiest when out in nature working the land or with animals.

Can work great as part of a team and equally happy to work individually.

Very trustworthy and hopefully a genuine person to get to know.
