Description
No matter where I go – may it be the Camino del Norte in Spain, British Colombia or my hometown – I love exploring places and believe volunteering is a great way to do so. I’m really interested in learning about new cultures, meeting people, and being outdoors.
I have a Masters degree in Experiential Education and have been working in a clinic in southern Germany for the last 3,5 years.
Looking forward to 3 months of travelling Australia and New Zealand!

We really enjoyed having Christine stay with us for a couple of weeks. She got along with everyone really well and was happy to do whatever work was required :)

I highly recommend this Workaway! I stayed for two weeks over Christmas when everything is a little different from the rest of the year (there are no classes running and it’s really quiet) but really enjoyed my stay. Warm and welcoming people, a beautiful place and varied work. The Dandendong Ranges are wonderful for hiking. Thank you to everyone… read more

I can only agree with the reviews of the previous workawayers; even though there was an unusual amount of rain during my stay in the lodge, I enjoyed every day of it!

Christine was amazing. Seriously wonderful person. Smart kind and helpful. Attentive and self-starting. ALWAYS on time and smiling. Picked up the, at times complicated, volunteering routine within days. Never once complained or brought an ounce of negativity to the kitchen. myself or co-volunteers. She is the perfect Workaway. I left the island 4 days ago and still have difficulties putting my experience into words... the sunrises over the ocean, the monkeys in the treets, turtles on the beach, amazing international volunteers , great food and so much fun (and efficiency!) in the kitchen with my fabulous co-Workaway Ivan and our wonderful "boss" Jess - I am so… read more
