I am a native English speaker. I have been learning Spanish little by little over the years, but this year I have been truly deeply learning more, and trying to integrate it fully into fluency. I would love to learn more languages bit by bit. And the idea of helping others by teaching English is something I would truly hold dear in my heart.

I'm a friendly, grounded person traveling through Central and South America, seeking meaningful work exchanges where I can contribute and learn.

I bring over 10 years of hospitality experience- from busy seasonal work to building relationships with regular customers. My employers have consistently valued my reliability, positive attitude, and ability to handle whatever comes my way. I'm punctual, I follow through on commitments, and I genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome and comfortable. I also love to cook and I'm excellent at cleaning... I'm very detail-oriented and take pride in creating welcoming, well-maintained spaces.

I'm traveling with my indoor cat, Smokey, so ideally I'm looking for hosts who can provide private accommodation if it's possible. He's shy initially but warms up over time. He's neutered, well-behaved, and honestly a perfect angel.... he just has a habit of trying to slip outside even though he doesn't know what to do once he's out there! Private accommodation helps me keep him safe and secure.

Beyond my work experience, I'm a good listener and enjoy having real conversations with people. I'm also pretty handy with a phone camera if you need photos for social media or your website. My energy is calm and steady rather than super high-energy, but I'm warm, understanding, and easy to be around.
