Les activités qui nous intéressent :

Most of the time you’ll find us outdoors surfing, hiking, biking, practicing yoga, breathwork, exploring and finding flowers and creatures + everything in between. We also love cooking together.

Description

At the start of 2023 we made the decision to quit our jobs and book a one way ticket to Europe. We purchased our yellow van "Soli" and have been travelling through Europe ever since. Being on the road we have been lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful coastlines and nature everyday giving us plenty of time to enjoy the things that are important to us. Together surfing has been one of our everyday hobbies but when we're not in the water we are strengthening our yoga practice, Doing nature hikes, breathwork or our new found love of foraging for mushrooms. Its been magic understanding the beauty of the fauna and flora. We have been having fun learning new cultures in each country and the history that comes with it all. We both live healthy lifestyles with good food and exercise but of course we still love to wind down with a social drink or 2.

Sam -Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast QLD Australia I was lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful coastlines, nature and people. I have always been highly motivated by mother nature and it's beauty it provides for us. I have been a surfer my whole life which is why I have such a deep connection with the ocean as well as nature. Happiness for me has generally come from the ocean and also the surrounding of the amazing people I have in life. Being able to achieve something completely different from my norm is also very fulfilling.

Chrissy - I grew up in a small country town on large property in Queensland which has helped me grow in to the proud bush chook I am today. Lately I have been loving learning about flower pressing, natural dyes and materials as well as foraging for wild fruits and mushrooms. I am always up for an adventure and always seem to find a few creature friends along the way. I practice yoga most days and love to cook for myself and loved ones as often as possible bonus if I also have a tasty red in hand. Sam has been teaching me how to surf which I'm absolutely loving.

I am currently learning Spanish. Only early days but it would be great to practice my Spanish with native speakers. I am interested in languages in general and love to learn the basics when entering a new country. I would also be happy to help anyone wanting to learn English.

Together we have many shared skills. Our skills include, Gardening/farm work, Hospitality (Front & back of house), hotel guest services & housekeeping, Tourism, team management & training, labour assistance, Sports coaching/teaching and of course having a good time.

We love anything active and outdoors. We play cards most days so happy to teach what we know and would be great to learn something new. Together when we are unable to surf you will still find us out enjoying nature most of the time. Whilst travelling at the moment we have also found a love for foraging and learning about different edible mushrooms/fruits. You will find us chasing waterfalls and swimming holes during the summer, also in the winter because the colder the better.
