Wow! Loving this site....! I find joy in the simple pleasures of life....I am much more about experience than accumulation. I traveled Latin America extensively in my 30's , what a great
"priviledged ""experience this was. These were the happiest times of my life, learning growing and exploring. I love being in nature and have done many multi-day hikes....predominately in the Olympic National Park...A gorgeous , majestic place ! I'm also a melody maker , and love dancing! preparing and enjoying good food with good company!

I'm presently in Denver Colorado....The timing of the workaway near the fires here didn't work out ...so making some quick decisions and open to more asap opportunities...going through my hot list .....theres a variety of opportunities. Im traveling with a truck full of tools , as well as my chill big cat Restop.

We'll It wasn't as I expected it to be ( intentional community, alternative building / rural, farm experience ) but I managed to have some travel adventure, exploring and making new friends and community....I never made it all the way to Arizona , but Albuquerque New Mexico opened it's doors to me. My initial contact and connection was through work-away, but quickly made other connections, outside of work-away finding home improvement projects and local community to connect with. Had some challenges with a broken down truck and a wounded cat, but worked through these and managed to explore a bit and make some deep connections....I now find myself back in the Northwest, in Olympia. I appreciate my community here but still yearning for some freshness, stretching my bubble , looking into extended opportunities in my greater region...Im very attracted to the peninsula , and often think about moving there more permanently, as I spend a lot of time hiking in the Olympic National Park...definitely a happy place :)...Also open to the greater Island region for seasonal opportunities...

UPDATE 7-13-22

Was a rough beginning to Spring but life is grounding out again with the summer. I've been settled back home here in the northwest for a few months....recently recovering from a herniated disc with severe sciatica...Ouch! Happy to say Im feeling 95% better after a long period of rest and PT. I so appreciate my Olympia community FamOly, but I can do without the "northwet" winters and Im yearning for more travel adventure / expansion / connection. So my sites are set on Mexico...I've spent a bit of time in Mexico but not nearly as much as I would like to. Theres plenty to explore. That said I'm into quality over quantity , and interested in long term stays, ( maybe with a few long weekend getaways ) , ideally somewhere where my travel cat Restop can be as well. I traveled Latin America extensively in my 30's for half a year at a time . I speak conversationally fluent Spanish. Workaway is obviously helpful with the budget but also appreciate how it gives you an opportunity to get to know a community. My experience has definitely been as a traveler more than a tourist. I look forward to connecting with a great winter opportunity or two...Im thinking December thru March potentially.....would have to take a border hop trip.

I've traveled extensively throughout parts of LAtin America , Central and South America , Spain, as well as spent some time in France and Quebec...A lot of this was through my alternative college experience doing independent contracts with "The Evergreen State College" in Olympia Washington. My main home the last 25 years...I've had classes but travel and integration has been my best teacher . I speak conversationally fluent Spanish and I can get by with my French....

we've been having a sunny and beautiful autumn in my area of the northwest. Ominous but beautiful for now. That said "WINTER IS COMING! "...And I would like to spend it in Mexico.
