Hi!

We are Chris and Emma, both 27 year old UK residents taking a year off working in healthcare, travelling the world.
We both love
Nature (I studied biology and conservation)
Travel
Building (lots of big and smaller projects)
Gardening
Photography

Food/ Cooking
History

We both spend time with family including nieces, 6 months old, 5 years old and 7 years old.

We are both hope to meet many locals and get to know the culture, happy to see and hear about anything a host wishes to share with us!

We have completed farm/homestays in Cambodia and Laos.
Our most recent 2 week stay helping a remote village in Laos building huts, making bricks, creating bamboo structures. Agriculture, fruit picking and working with local children to help their English skills through play and arts and crafts.
We have both looked after young kids and can run arts and crafts for groups, we can both teach English.

We both have professional cameras and can document and take photos for your workaway if needed.

I work in IT and can fix many computer or website issues.

We spend our time camping/ hiking out with cameras, helping out with various DIY building projects at home or with friends.
We both love music, board games (Chris Guitar) and gardening.
Emma loves crocheting and crafts too.

Works in Psychology
Lots of experience caring for children, baby sitting, caring for young adults and adults.
Psychology and care services, talking to people.
Volunteered teaching kids in Laos basic English and doing arts and crafts with them.
Has worked making bricks out of cement.
Has worked in restaurants and cafes.
Hard working
Fit and healthy - goes to gym
Loves cooking.

Chris
Works as a software developer
Has worked in pubs/ bars in the UK various roles in kitchen.
Heavy lifting, have worked in warehouses.
I have helped build bricks in Laos for a farmstay's new building. I have collected bamboo and prepared foundations.
Loves DIY building projects. Building sheds, garden landscaping, planters/ gardening related.
I have done some agricultural work planting vegetables and picking fruits and nuts.

Happy to learn more DIY building or gardening skills.
I also loves cooking and teaching.
