Description
Hello! We are Chiara and Zoë, and we are from Italy and the UK. We love helping and learning from others, travelling, the outdoors, and good food.
Chiara is a social worker. [I] have experience working with vulnerable individuals from different backgrounds. [I] worked with destitute adults experiencing homelessness in the UK, with asylum seekers seeking refuge in France, with refugees in Italy and across Europe, and with underprivileged women in Colombia on an empowerment project. [I] also enjoy gardening, crafting, crocheting, cinematography, and photography. [I] have also done a few workaway projects in the past.
Zoë is an epidemiologist. [I] have experience in control of infectious diseases in populations, particularly emerging, zoonotic, and vector-borne infections. [I] also have experience working with asylum seekers in France, with supporting recent immigrants to the United States, building houses in underprivileged areas and in homelessness and loneliness in the U.K. [I] love all sports, outdoor adventures, music and nature.
We are currently travelling and looking for ways to give back to the amazing countries and people we are visiting!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Zoë is passionate, hardworking, and reliable. She is friendly and deeply cares about the people she works with and can establish great relationships in life. She is kind, very funny and an unwavering optimist. She is an athletic person capable of helping with more physically demanding tasks. Working as an epidemiologist she has developed skills in health data analysis, research, communicating complex ideas to different groups and has a deep understanding of health and disease. She has a master’s in Global Health & Development and has played football at semi-professional level.
Chiara is kind, empathetic, and deeply caring. She is emotionally intelligent, patient and wants to learn about people’s different points of view and experiences; she is passionate and experienced in supporting people build a better life for themselves. She is not as funny as Zoë but she is getting there. However, no doubt she is much more organised! She is adventurous and excited about new experiences. She has an academic background in social and cultural anthropology and global diversity governance. She has experience and qualifications in working with adults suffering from domestic abuse, substance misuse, and mental health conditions.
