Hi! My name is Gianmaria, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. At the end of 2025, I decided to leave my job and daily routine behind to follow my curiosity and explore Asia together with my adventure partner, Chiara.
I’m a mechanical engineer specialized in vehicles, but beyond my professional background I’ve always been a very hands-on person. I grew up surrounded by engines and spent much of my teenage years in a garage tuning motorcycles. For this reason, I’m happy to help with small maintenance or repair jobs, whether it’s motorcycles, cars, or general mechanical work.
Since I was 13, I’ve lived away from home, which taught me independence, adaptability, and responsibility from an early age. I really enjoy cooking and can prepare many traditional Italian dishes. As a child, my grandfather taught me to love the land, showing me how to work it and take care of a vegetable garden, something I still enjoy doing whenever I can.
I’m a very curious and open-minded person, and meeting new people and discovering new places is what gives me energy and motivation. I love learning through shared experiences and contributing wherever I can.
Mountains have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve been hiking in the Alps since I was a child, and more recently I’ve started mountaineering. I’d be happy to share some basic techniques, teach useful knots, or join you on hikes, whether short walks or more demanding multi-day adventures.
I’m also a confident and responsible driver, and I genuinely enjoy driving, whether for everyday activities, longer trips, or helping out with transportation when needed. I’m really looking forward to sharing skills, stories, and experiences, and to becoming part of your daily life for a while.



Hi! My name is Chiara, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Italy. I have a background in Communication and Business. I grew up in a small village and later lived in Bologna for several years, an experience that made me independent, adaptable, and comfortable in new environments.

After finishing my studies, I decided to pursue a long-time dream: becoming a digital nomad and building a life based on freedom, creativity, and meaningful connections. Together with my partner, I’m planning to travel from Italy toward Asia, crossing different countries and immersing ourselves in local life, with the desire to grow as individuals and give something back by supporting people and projects along the way.

Communication is at the core of what I do. I collaborate with a communication agency and have co-founded a startup, gaining experience in content creation, storytelling, photography, video editing, and digital communication. I’d be happy to help hosts improve their online presence, manage social media, create engaging content, and I’m especially interested in telling authentic stories about people, places, and local projects.

Beyond work, I love baking (I’ve taken a pastry course), trekking, and spending time in nature. I enjoy challenging hikes, staying in mountain huts, and meeting genuine people along the way. I also love animals and have experience with horse riding and horse care, a passion I’d love to rediscover.

I’m a positive, empathetic, and creative person who loves learning through hands-on experiences and cultural exchange. I’d like to improve my English, learn practical skills such as gardening, and at the same time share my language and culture by teaching Italian, as well as a few words or traditions from my local dialect. I truly believe in the value of sharing skills and stories, and I’m excited to contribute my energy and creativity to meaningful projects around the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gianmaria: Adaptability, flexibility, and versatility are my main strengths. When it comes to practical tasks, I can handle small maintenance work around the house, in the garden, and on different types of vehicles. I enjoy cooking and can prepare traditional Italian dishes as well as create new recipes. I’m very comfortable with children and I’m good at keeping them engaged in a fun and responsible way. I also love animals, and taking care of them comes naturally to me.

Chiara: I’m an adaptable, creative, and sociable person. I really enjoy working in a team and collaborating with others. I have experience in communication and storytelling, creating content for blogs and social media. I can help hosts improve their online presence, manage social media, and create engaging content. I also love baking and I could certainly share this with children. I’m quick to learn, enjoy new challenges, and I’m happy to help with practical tasks or activities outdoors. I’m excited to share my language and culture and teach basic Italian along the way.
