Hi! I’m Chiara, a nature and music lover from Italy who simply enjoys staying active and being around people. I’ve always felt most like myself when I’m moving, whether that’s hiking up a trail, going for a swim, or even just trying to keep my balance on a slackline.

I’m naturally curious and I’ve always been a big believer in the power of community. That’s probably why I feel so at home where I can spend time with people singing and playing music, but also in the kitchen—I love experimenting with new flavors, but what I enjoy most is the process of cooking with others and the long conversations that happen over a shared meal. When I’m not in the kitchen or exploring outside, I’m usually busy with some woodworking projects around the house, as I really love the feeling of creating something with my own hands.

At the moment, I’m putting my heart into my work as an educator in Modena. I spend my time supporting children, mostly from migrant backgrounds, by helping them with their studies and getting them involved in art. It’s a role that means a lot to me, and it’s what inspired me to pursue my Master’s in Special Needs Education.

I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and for me, languages are just another beautiful way to connect with people and learn from their stories. I’m an easy-going person who always tries to look on the bright side, and I’m honestly just excited to jump into new experiences, lend a hand wherever I can, and keep learning as I go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In the last years I've experienced different jobs: I've been a slackline and athletics coach, I worked in my uncle's farm, I played music in different refugees in the mountains and in pubs in the cities, I took care of children in a didactic farm and in summer camps.
The last workaway I did was about helping taking care of a remote old house in the mountains of Asturias . I learned how to use various tools and, especially, I became passionate about woodworking to build small and cute home furnishings.
I learn very quickly and I love challenging myself with different experiences and jobs, keeping my body active and strong.
