I find happiness into connecting with people. Getting to know each individual's dreams, passions, culture, values and life experience is fascinating to me and help me to grow up so much! This is why I love traveling, and this is why I am on Workaway. When I visit a country I want to meet the locals and not only see the touristy spots!

I believe that when visiting a country, speaking the locals' language is a must! I love learning it (even though I'm a slow learner haha) and even more being able to communicate afterwards. Of course I am always happy to teach some french or english to whoever might be interested.

I just finished a Social Work degree in my home country and have some experience with children, elderly, and women.
I have taken part in event organization on a few occasions.
I lived in California for 6 months so I speak fluent english, and I volunteered in Korea for 3 months in an english conversation cafe.
I did workaways in guesthouses/hostels, teaching English, and working in a cafe.
Overall I am an enthusiastic, open-minded and patient person, and I am keen to learn new skills!

I play waterpolo, so I love anything related to being in the water! I learned to dive in Indonesia and got addicted to it ;)
I love late-night conversations, drinking inside cosy cafes or bars, cooking, watching movies and TV shows, doing arts, exploring new places and much more!

This Workaway is a unique chance to meet a lot of the locals and the hosts are absolutely lovely people. I went into many schools from elementary to university to speak English with the students, which were sometimes a bit shy but still eager to speak with me.

This is definitely the Workaway that had the biggest impact on me up to now. The people living and working in this community have such inspiring values! The hostel is well situated and Melacca is such a nice city! You receive a planning with your shifts and the rest of the time you are free to explore.
