Hello! We're a couple from Australia planning a year-long sabbatical for 2025. We'll be organising working holiday visas in France so will be largely based in France, with quite a bit of travel to neighbouring countries.
I (Chelsea) previously spent a year in Italy/Switzerland where I held a variety of Workaway positions, which involved helping with reception, admin, housekeeping, cooking, and childcare for a number of BnBs and families. I also house-sat on numerous occasions, including helping with pets. I've always wanted to return to Europe and am thrilled to be planning a trip again, this time with my partner Ciaran.
We're currently based in Melbourne, Australia where I work in Interior Design and Ciaran works as a Public Servant. I'm more than happy to help with any renovation planning or design, and Ciaran's a master at computers, writing, research, and spreadsheets.
We both love to cycle on the weekends, have picnics in the parks, find new hiking trails, and birdwatching - Ciaran's favourite hobby! We also have a small cat of our own (who is staying in Aus with family while we travel), so we're more than happy to help out with any pets.
I love to cook for others, and we are always hosting dinner parties for friends and families. We're both avid foodies and are always trying out new restaurants!
Ciaran looks after our balcony garden and keeps it thriving; he'd be keen to help out with any gardening projects and would love to learn more gardening tips to bring back for our future home garden.
I love to knit or read in my spare time, listen to music, or go walking. Ciaran also loves music and walks, and he also is a keen drummer. Both of us maintain our home together and occasionally house sit for family and friends.Centres d’intérêt

We're both Australian and English is our only fluent language. I (Chelsea) lived a year in Italy when I was 18 so I picked up some conversational Italian then - I've tried to practice and keep it but it's been some years now... Would love to learn from anyone willing. We're both also very interested in French and have been learning some basics!Compétences et connaissances que nous aimerions partager ou apprendre
