Hello, I'm Cesare, a 25-year-old Italian! A year ago, I graduated in Economics, and for the past year, I've been working in the beautiful region of Marche, Italy, managing the financial and marketing aspects for a large company. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to live in several countries besides Italy, including Germany, France, and Singapore.

I joined Workaway because working full-time in Italy throughout the year makes me miss traveling abroad, discovering new countries, cultures, and landscapes, meeting new people from different parts of the world, and learning and speaking foreign languages (in my case, besides English, my beloved German)! I'm free from my regular job for the entire month of August, and I would like to spend it having this experience.

In the past, I've worked as a waiter and still do it occasionally on weekends. I had a great time interacting with the customers, enjoying their smiles, making them feel well taken care of and pampered, and feeling really satisfied with their gratitude. I would love to do it again! Additionally, having studied Economics, I can handle bookkeeping and/or marketing for small businesses.

I learned German in Bolzano, South Tyrol during my university studies and perfected it in 2019 during a 6 months stay in Ingolstadt, Bavaria. In 2019, I felt more comfortable speaking German than English, and I was very happy about this! Unfortunately, in recent years, I've continued using English but have spoken less German, and I realize that I'm gradually forgetting it (I still speak it well enough to work as a waiter and communicate, but I feel like I'm losing it!). Therefore, I would like speaking it daily again during my Workaway experience. Besides that, I'm really willing to teach Italian or English. Just as I love learning languages, I love sharing what little I know!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Everyone says that I am a very outgoing person, and I believe this is my main strength on a personal level: I can immediately break the ice with any kind of person I meet, from my neighbor to a company's CEO!

On a more practical level, I've worked as

• Waiter
• Bookkeeper
• Finance and marketing specialist

I would say that I thrive in jobs that combine human interaction with analytical tasks. However, during my Workaway experience, I would be happy to set aside the analytical side for a while and do a job that involves 100% interaction with others!
