Hey, My name is Censina :)

I grew up in Northern England but my family is Maltese. I am a qualified youth and community worker who is passionate about, young people being given the chance to have their views heard and, communities coming together to choose their own direction. I am always being creative in my approach to developing informal educational processes. I love working in an environment that fosters inclusivity and values community learning.

For the past 10 years I have been traveling solo, living in a number of countries. I have most recently been living in Australia for the past 2 years. I am leaving Australia in September 2024 to travel for 6 months before I return to university to study a master's in research.


My areas of priority whiles traveling are:

A few years ago, I completed a salsa dancing course in the UK. I have taken some classes since and attended social events. I am at intermediate level but would like to work on becoming advanced.

Thirdly, I love taking photos and videos. I have bought a DJI gimbal to work on my skills and knowledge around content creation.

These are three of my main focus areas, but I am not limited to this and look forward to exploring what opportunities are available to me. I enjoy cooking, being creative, trekking and so much more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in various settings with children I starting out helping in a nursery and babysitting I then went on to work in a children play centre and I have also been a personal carer for a girl with disabilities.

Since becoming an informal educator, I have worked with young people/ teenagers in a variety of ways including film projects, residentials, cooking, baking, environmental projects and I have also done street work and issue based projects.

I have completed a salsa dancing course but would benefit for having a partner to practice with.

I have the energy and enthusiasm to add to this so if you are up to teaching me, I have the will to put the work in.
