Hi everybody!! I'm Caterina, a 23 years old originally from Italy.
I am a human being enthusiastic about life in all of its forms and colors.

I've recently graduated from university in Literature, which is one of my big passions, and I'm now exploring, outside of books, how human art, creativity and solidarity can create the most radically beautiful stories.

What I love most in life is nature so I pursue a way of life where the deep sense of aliveness and gratitude that I feel in contact with the wild becomes part of the everyday. With this aim I became very interested in ecological and sustainable ways to agricolture and a world has open up to me!
Now I really like to get my hands dirty and learn everything I can through practical experiences.

I love to explore human connections with compassion and a very open heart, and I think to be able to witness one another and learn from each other is the most valuable gift.

I also love other animal lives and I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and with cows and deers as neighbors. I value the dignity of every kind of life, trying to harm as little as possible with my actions and decision.
For this reason I follow a plant based diet, colorful, joyful and delicious.

At home I started my very own small syntropic garden that I cultivate using permaculture's principles with amazing results, and that brings me so much joy that i want to learn new techniques and different prospectives from people that have been experimenting in this field in different parts of the world, climates and conditions.

I enjoy concrete phisical tasks and I have experience working seasonal jobs in the Alps, in a hostel, and picking fruits. I enjoy trying to find happiness even in more challenging kind of works.

And I love slow travelling, with a deeper connection to a place, getting a taste of different cultures and growing and expanding my view of the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a very curious person that tends to develop a genuine interest for whatever is thought to me, so, when I take part in a new project, I quickly start doing things with passion and care and I consider myself a hard worker.
I have a lot of experience teaching and spending time with children, which I love and every time feel like I am actually the one that is learning so much :)
I also take care of my pets in the everyday life, but I like all animals and would always be happy to spend time with some of them.
I've worked at a hostel and a restaurant.
I've volunteered for no-profit organizations and organized a found-raiser.
I am a creative person and i often paint and create wire jewellery as a hobby.
But most importantly, I am very adaptive and respectful of new environments and people and ready and open to learn as much as I can from every encounter and new experience.
