Kia Ora! Nice to meet you. My name is Casey and I'm a english born Kiwi emphasis on the KIWI.

I am a seeker of experiences and want to immerse myself in any opportunities that come my way helping me to grow as a person. With a passion for nature i find myself comforted and grounded when surrounded by natural beauty and peaceful landscapes. I enjoy hands on work, building and creating from DIY and construction to art, anything that gives me an outlet to produce brings me Joy. A good work/life balance means a lot to me as i've had many experiences where work has taken over my life (Hence the desire to travel and get away from 9-5 society). I am a trained Chef with 4 years industry experience and still love to cook. Have a passion for photography, Portraiture, street photography, and landscapes whilst my commercial work was mainly cars and events.
I'm eager to embrace new challenges, excited to contribute, learn, and connect while nurturing my love for exploring, creating, adventure, and growth from meaningful experiences and friendships.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With a versatile skill set gained from a range of Jobs and education, i think i bring valuable knowledge to any table. As a qualified Chef i possess knowledge and ability to create a delicious meal out of whatever is infant of me and obviously the ability to feed myself and others.
I have aways had a love for photography and imagery since i was a young boy and 2 years ago i was given the opportunity to work as a photographer for a large car dealership. I spent 2 years photographing cars of all ranges from cheap new and used cars to high end sportscars and luxury vehicles, as well as operating the social media and content creation for the brand so experience in social media management is attached to that. All the while i never lost my love of photography as a pure form often going for walks with my camera in nature or through the city and urban landscapes.
I am good with my hands and capable at building structures and fixing things. I would say i have the skills as a handyman to keep and maintain properties and buildings if necessary. At the beginning of 2023 my father and I stripped and converted a 8 meter Bus into a motorhome compete with plumbing, hot water, shower, toilet, diesel heater, gas stove, and all the carpentry and wood work to finish. (can provide a video of the finished product if you would like to see). I am a vintage car enthusiast and to this date i have never owned a vehicle younger than myself. I had 3 old cars 1975 and earlier as a kid first learning to drive and part of owning a vintage car is the up keep and knowledge to repair minor things that spring up. I am no mechanic but i do have the knowledge to maintain and fix minor things with pre technology vehicles. I have a well rounded skill set in the hospitality industry as i have 6 months experience working as a bartender in a busy restaurant/
bar, this included front of house work as well.
My first ever Job was as a Mathematics tutor for kids aged 5-16. I did this for 2 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy the energy and naivity of young children as it reminds me of how pure and loving humans can be.
I feel these skills make me adaptable and resourceful in any situation with the lessons all of this has taught me. This is a new challenge though and there is so much still i wish to learn, in the scope of the world I still know so little and am eager to continue on my journey gaining as much knowledge and experience as possible.
