I am currently a graduate student living in Maryland, USA. I enjoy running, hiking, camping, cooking, and reading. I am also an animal lover and recently started practicing pickleball.

Thirty years in, and I finally asked myself the question that changed everything: Why stop dreaming?

For most of my life, I followed the conventional path — work hard, be reliable, earn a steady living. After five years in office life, though, I started feeling a quiet restlessness. The idea of doing the same thing for the next thirty years didn't sit right with me. Something was missing.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a vet, living close to animals and nature, building things with my own hands, and growing my own food. That dream never really faded — I just stopped listening to it for a while. Now, I'm listening again.

I'm proactive, curious, and the kind of person who practices something repeatedly until I've truly mastered it. I don't back down from a challenge — I recently completed a 10-mile running marathon, which I think says a lot about my endurance and commitment. When I'm not running, you'll find me hiking, camping, or cooking a big meal for friends and guests. Everyone who sits at my table leaves happy, and I love that.

I always keep a book close by. Right now I'm reading The Book of Joy, which feels fitting for where I am in life — stepping out of comfort and into something more meaningful.

What I'm looking for is not a getaway. I want to learn — deeply and hands-on — about farming, sustainable living, and what it truly means to be connected to the land and the animals on it. I'm ready to work, ready to listen, and ready to grow.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a master’s degree in Data Science. Originally from Taiwan, I lived there for 26 years before moving to the United States for graduate school. I speak both Mandarin and English fluently.

I have three years of experience in sales and marketing, which strengthened my communication and teamwork skills. I also enjoy teaching and previously worked as a statistics tutor for college students. In addition, I am comfortable teaching math and computer skills to different age groups.

I also have experience caring for animals, including daily dog care for one year and cat sitting for my sister’s cat. I enjoy learning new things, helping others, and adapting to different environments.
