Hello! I'm Camille, from the South of France, currently on a big adventure in Central & South America. I am passionate about surfing, photography, reading, and playing the piano. I have lived in the US (New Jersey), the UK (Scotland), and Portugal (Lisbon). I am a very curious and adventurous person, ready to try new things and excited to meet new people!

I grew up near the sea, with 2 younger siblings, a cat, and a very loving family. I always dreamed of traveling, so at 18 I started exploring the world on my own. So far I have visited 16 countries, and I can't wait to keep going.

Through Workaway, I am looking for meaningful experiences. I am ready to work, help, and support on the tasks, and I am looking to learn about different cultures, new skills & activities, and meet new people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My main domain of expertise is marketing/communication/content creation, as I am a Marketing master's graduate with 2 years of professional experience, and own photography/videography gear (Sony mirrorless camera, DJI drone, GoPro camera). I have also worked as a sales assistant and as a babysitter.

My family often praises my cooking skills, which I would be delighted to share with you! (I will totally make french crepes for you) I also enjoy gardening and taking care of animals in my free time (I have a cat, and have done 10 years horse riding).

I am a fast learner, curious to discover and develop new skills!

I am a very multi-hobbies person, with interests in literally everything.

I picked up surfing a few years back, which is the reason I moved to Portugal, I wanted to surf more. I also love surfskating, hiking, and running. I'd love to try windsurfing again and discover kite-surfing and diving.

I have played the piano for 16+ years, I also tried cello, clarinet, and guitar. I enjoy photography, drawing, and painting in my free time, and I also tried some embroidery. I really enjoy music overall, from rock to classical mixed with a bit of Taylor Swift.

Reading has also been a constant interest, mostly in the fantasy genre, but also in historical books and anything about greek/roman/northern mythology.
